Annual Yale Day of Service

Yale Association of New Mexico will be participating in the Yale Day of Service on Saturday, May 11, 2024. We will have activities in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque.

 

The Yale Day of Service is a global event that welcomes Yale Alumni, family, and friends to work together to make their communities - both local and virtual - a better place.

 

The Santa Fe event will take place from 10 am to noon at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, at 100 Caja del Rio, Santa Fe, 87507. Volunteers will be walking and socializing dogs to prepare them for the future furrrever homes.

 

In Albuquerque, we will be working with a shelter to sort and organize clothing as well as set up a shopping experience for residents.

 

Both volunteer opportunities are available for Yale alums and their families ages 13 and up.  If you are unable to participate in person on May 11, we will also be accepting donations of new and gently-used backpacks, as well as new packages of underwear (this is what the shelter has greatest need for, especially men's sizes) prior to the event.
